Early Life and Childhood
Yuna was born on December 30, 1992, and she is currently 29 years old. Her full name is Seo Yu-na but is more popular by the mononym Yuna. Her full name is written in Korean as 서유나 and in Hanja as 徐酉奈. Yuna is a native of Busan, South Korea.
Talking about her childhood, she began playing piano when she was only 7 years old. As a result, she took an interest in becoming a singer as an adult. At the young age of 18 years, she traveled to Seoul alone. This was following the consent from her parents.

Professionally, Yuna is a prominent singer and actress. Internationally, Yuna is famous as a former member of the South Korean girl group AOA. She was also a member of the group’s subgroups – AOA Black and AOA Cream.
At the time of AOA’s debut in 2012, the original members of the girl group were Choa, Jimin, Youkyung, Hyejeong, Mina, Seolhyun, and Chanmi herself.
Initially, she made her debut as a singer in the South Korean entertainment industry on 30 July 2012 as a member of AOA. The girls debuted through Mnet’s M! Countdown while their debut album is Angels’ Story and the title track is Elvis.
The young singer then released 3 EPs and 9 singles by 22 June 2015 with the girl group AOA. She was also a part of the subunit “AOA Black”. In the year 2015, she traveled with AOA to Hainan.
There, the girls filmed One Fine Day. It is a variety program in which the girls go on a healing vacation. AOA was the 7th idol group to appear on the program.
Furthermore, she was also part of the sub-unit “AOA Cream”. The other members of this sub-unit are Shin Hye Jeong and Kim Chanmi. They released their 1st teaser on 1 February 2016. AOA Cream released the MV teaser for the title track I’m Jelly Baby on 4 February 2016.
They finally released the original video and track for the title song on 12 February 2016. When Yuna’s contract expired with FNC Entertainment on 1st January 2021, the singer left the company.

Besides singing, she is also a successful but lesser-known actress. The singer turned actress had a lead role in the Japanese Musical Summer Snow in the year 2013. She also acted in another lead role in the Korean web drama Prince’s Prince in February 2015.
Likewise, on 20 October 2013, She sang the OST for the TV drama series Marry Him If You Dare. This OST song is I’m OK.
Moreover, in October 2016, there was an announcement confirming that she would appear in another web drama called Hot and Sweet. Her role in this web drama is the character Joon Young who is a part-time food worker.

This song is Another You. For the TV drama series A Korean Odyssey, she sang the OST song If You Were Me. She sang this song together with Shin Ji-min.
In the year 2019, she along with Shin Hye Jeong and Kim Chanmi took part in the reality program AOA DaSaDanang Heart Attack Danang. The members travel to Danang, Vietnam, for an adventure for this program.
In July of the same year, the singer also appeared in the web drama Love Formula 11M playing the role of the character So-jin.
She is also a songwriter, producer, and backing singer. The singer used her pseudonym E.NA becoming the backing singer for Shin her parts for girl group ITZY’s song Dalla Dalla and Twice’s song Heart Shaker.
Her former agency FNC Entertainment confirmed this in December 2019. Furthermore, She was also the backing singer for WJSN’s Butterfly.
