Afterward, he produced and acted in the 1967 movie “Bonnie and Clyde” which was a critical and commercial success. Moreover, it was nominated for ten Academy Awards. In the 1970s, he appeared in critically acclaimed movies such as “Shampoo” (1975), and “Heaven Can Wait” (1978).
