His wife worked for Indian conglomerates such as the Taj Group, the Sheraton Group, the Oberoi Group, and the Welcome Group. Therefore, she chef previously served as the head chef at Vermillion in Chicago.

Maneet established her eatery named Chauhan Ale and Masala House in 2014. Additionally, she has written a number of cooking books. Her 1st book is Flavors of My World: A Culinary Journey Through 25 Countries.
Therefore, Chauhan and co-author Jody Eddy published their book Chaat, in 2020. Thus, she judges the Food Network show Worst Cooks in America. Also, she has starred on The Next Iron Chef on ABC and Chopped on Food Network.
