Early Life and Childhood
Victoria Baldesarra was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on July 28, 1998. She turns 25 years old as of 2023 and her astrological sign is Leo. She has an older brother named Alec Baldesarra. Rise to Fame
Victoria began her dance career at the age of 3. And, she began acting when she was 13 years old. She auditioned for the hit series ‘The Next Step‘ in 2011. Therefore, she stars as “Michelle” on the international show. She also stars in the Netflix series ‘Lost & Found Music Studios’, a spin-off show of ‘The Next Step’. Moreover, she also stars as “Roxy” in the short film “Hollywood Trick” which is set to be released in 2021.
She was the youngest cast member (in A-Troupe) in the series “The Next Step”. This is now Alexandra Chaves who plays Piper. She is the only cast member from Season One to have remained in A-Troupe in all 5 Seasons. She was also part of Team Canada’s dance team, which earned Bronze in 2010 when they went to Ellington. Her three favorite styles of dance are jazz, hip-hop, and Acro.
She choreographed dance in Season 6. She also co-choreographed a dance in a deleted scene with Jordan Clark in Season 6. Moreover, she was also a guest choreographer in Season 7.

In detail:
In 2013, the Bolton branch of JCSOD won the coveted “Studio of the Year” prize at the third annual dance awards in New York organized by Break the Floor Productions. Considered to be the Oscar of dance awards, the award came the school’s way because the judges were looking for the most versatile studio and Frank and Melissa teach their wards just about everything – from hip hop to jazz to ballet – the whole range.
At the same awards, she was a participant in the winning team though she did not win any individual award. Earlier, in 2010, she won a bronze medal as a member of the Junior Canadian Show Dance Team at the IDO World Show Dance Championships held in Riesa, Germany. In 2011, she got her first call for an audition from Family Channel, Canada.
Finally, in 2013 she was picked for the role of Michelle in the Family Channel’s series ‘The Next Step’ which premiered on March 8, 2013. The premiere attracted the largest audience among all the serials on the channel with the number of viewers crossing one million. Vic has not looked back since and the serial is now in its third season.
She has also been featured in the documentary ‘The Next Step Live: The Movie’ where she plays herself. Since February 2016 the cast of ‘The Next Step’ has gone on a global tour called the Wild Rhythm Tour covering Canada, the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, and Australia. Reports indicate that every stop on the tour has been fully sold out. Despite her popularity and fame, she has not received any brand endorsement deals as of now. However, it is possible that in the near future, she might start to endorse brands.

Victoria is dating a handsome guy named James Preston. The two have shared a lot of pictures on their respecting Instagram account showing their love and affection towards each other. However, the duo is having a great time together. They celebrated their 1st anniversary on April 25, 2020.
