Throughout 2012, Cudi was in a custody battle over his daughter, Moreover, reports told that Cudi gave up custody after his child’s mother accused him of being an absentee father.

“Cudi did not give up custody but reached an amicable agreement with the mother; that ‘both parents are fit and proper persons to have custody of their child,’ as stated in the final custody judgment; results came back negative for drugs in a drug test voluntarily taken by Cudi; and that the court acknowledged Cudi attempted to establish a relationship and visit his child since her birth and “voluntarily provided financial support, including child support, rent and other monthly payments, for his daughter since her birth until the time that a child support order was entered as part of the normal course of the case”.
Details of the official custody agreement remain private. He has since purchased a property in Chicago to be close to his daughter.

She spends most of her holidays and free time with her dad Kid Cudi. Cudi keeps on posting photos of her on his social media. Even though Cudi doesn’t mention or post any information about her mom, he keeps on posting photos and videos with her.
Moreover, in one musical performance in his hometown Cleveland, Ohio, Kid Cudi introduced his daughter to the Crowd.

Cudi struggled with mental health in the past. He confessed in an interview that his fame and expectations from fans and the music industry declined his mental health.
Also, he used to take Cocaine alone to deal with an “emotional breakdown” following failed relationships. Hopefully, Cudihas been clean from drugs for four years now.
Therefore, not only being off Cocaine for four years, but Cudi also tweeted in 2019 apologizing to his past girlfriends for mistreating them. The tweet goes like this;
“I apologize to all my girlfriends in my 20s and early 30s I let down and treated like shit because I wasnt right. All of my relationships didnt work out because of me. I had to accept that and find peace and be better.”
