Early Life
Troye Sivan came to the world on the 5th of June 1995, in Johannesburg, South Africa. His birth name is Troye Sivan Mellet and he holds dual nationality of Australian and South African. Similarly, he is 27 years old as of 2022. Moreover, he has a birth sign of Gemini and a belief in the Jewish religion. On the 4th of September 2015, he released his second major-label EP, “Wild.” It was supported by a music video trilogy named Blue Neighbourhood, comprising the three songs “Wild”, “Fools” and “Talk Me Down” and released from September 2015 to December 2015.

Later, this singer joined 2016’s Blue Neighbourhood Tour and Suburbia Tour for his debut album. He also collaborated with Martin Garrix to produce the song named “There for You” on the 26th of May 2017. On 10th January 2018, he released the single “My My My!” along with an accompanying music video.

In October 2018, British singer-songwriter Charli XCX and he collaborated on the single “1999” and also performed the single together live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Similarly, its sequel collaboration named “2099” was released on the 6th of June 2019 at the two artists’ LA Pride event “Go West Fest.” Following that, it was released as a promotional single from Charli XCX’s album Charli on 10 September 2019. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he worked as a freelance artist to create visual art for his single.
He released his first single “Take Yourself Home” from his fifth EP In a Dream, on the 1st of April 2020. Following it, he released his single “Easy” from his fifth EP, In a Dream, on the 15th of July 2020.
With the collaboration of Regard and Tate McRae, he released the song “You” on the 16th of April 2021. It topped the Hot Dance Electronic Songs Chart for eight weeks. His other single “Angel Baby” which released on 10 September and reached the top 5 in several countries in Southeast Asia.
Acting
In addition, he got cast in the 2008 West Australian short film “Betrand the Terrible.” The same year of February, he was as young James Howlett in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” Moreover, he auditioned for the 2010 movie “Spud” and was cast as a lead portraying the role of John “Spud” Milton.
Afterward, he reappears in the same role in its sequel “Spud 2: The Madness Continues”(2013), and “Spud 3: Learning to Fly” (2014).
