Trisha Krishnan officially started her acting career in 1999 with the role of Simans’sfriends in the movie “Jodi”. After that, she appeared in some small projects like Mounam Pesiyadhe, Manasellaam, and Sammy.
However, her first big project was “Laysa Laysa” also known as “Lesa Lesa” directed by Priyadarshan in 2003.
This movie gave her huge recognition and got the chance to play in AR Rehman’s musical hit “Ennaku 20 Unnaku 18”. These movies were successful which took her career to the next level.
Likewise, in 2004, she debuted in Telugu cinema with the romance-action film “Varsham”. It changed her into an overnight sensation. She played the role of Sailaja in it.
