Tiya Sircar is a well-known actress from the United States. Moreover, Tiya Sircar is best known for her role as Real Eleanor/Vicky in the fantasy comedy series “The Good Place” (2016–2020).
Early Life
On the 16th of May 1982, in Arlington, Texas, the United States of America, Tiya Sircar was born. She holds American nationality and is 41 years old as of 2023. Similarly, she has a birth sign of Taurus and belongs to the Indian ethnicity. Similarly, she follows Hinduism as a religion.
Coming towards her parents, she is the daughter of Summit Sircar (father) and Arpana Majumdar (mother). Her father was a professor at a college while her mother also worked as a college professor and a dancer by profession. She grew up with her sister whose name is Priya Sircar.
Education
Coming towards her academic qualification, she holds two bachelor’s degrees, one each in business/marketing and theater & dance from the ‘The University of Texas at Austin.’
After finishing her graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to become an actress. She is a prolific dancer and has been pursuing the art form since the age of 3. Besides dancing, she pursued acting and musical theater, which eventually developed her interest in acting.
Professional Career
Tiya Sircar began her acting career in the 2005 short film “Heavenly Beauties” In the film, she played an Indian dancer. Later, she was seen in the 2007 direct-to-DVD vampire film “The Insatiable” where she played the role of Lisa.
That same year, she made her television debut with a string of single-episode appearances in series such as “Acceptable.TV,” “House,” “Hannah Montana” as Natasha, and “Moonlight.”
Afterward, she appeared in several shows; “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” as Zoey, “Greek” as Emma, “Numb3rs” as Shaza Rafiq, “Privileged” as Precious, “Phineas and Ferb” gave the voice of ‘Mishti’, “Make It or Break It” as Morgan Webster, “Better with You” as Reena, “NCIS” as Lauren Donnelly, “Touch” as Veronique/Nandu, “Emily Owens, M.D.” as Chloe, and “Betas” as Divya.

She appeared as Cecily in the 2008 video short “The Rock Paper Scissors Shows.” And, she also made an appearance as Mac Genius in a national ad campaign for “Apple Inc.” She portrayed the role of Samantha in the 2009 comedy movie “17 Again.”
Due to her role in it, she was able to get featured on the list of ‘Sexy and Successful in 2010’ in the 7th Anniversary issue of ‘Anokhi’ magazine. She entered the fashion industry as a guest celebrity editor for the online beauty magazine ‘Beauty Blitz’ in the summer of 2009.
Additionally, she was approached to write about her fashion and beauty favorites. Similarly, she also promoted eco-friendly products and practices in the fashion industry, including eco-friendly spas, organic beauty products, and animal-friendly labels.

After appearing as Becca in the 2009 Comedy movie “Just Peck”, she was seen as Piper Sperling in the 2012 crime thriller “Breaking the Girls” starring Agnes Bruckner and Madeline Zima.
Similarly, she plays Mohea in the 2013 fantasy adventure film “The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone.” That same year, she played the role of Neha Patel in the comedy movie “The Internship.”
She has worked as a voice actress also. In the 2013 animated family movie “Walking with Dinosaurs” she lent her voice to the main character called Juniper. Later, she appeared in the 2014 police procedural television series “NCIS” appearing in the episode ‘How I Met Your Dad,’ a spin-off of ‘How I Met Your Mother.’
