Later, Tim made his professional debut with the team San Antonio Spurs in 1997. He had a great performance in the debut season. He also helped the team to win the first-ever NBA championship in 1999.
The amazing performance and leadership ability of Spurs led him to be the team’s new leader in the 2003-04 season. He also suffered from tendinosis during this time hampering his game at some moments.
The legendary player played his 1000th NBA game against Portland TrailBlazer. Finally, the player retired on 11th July 2016 after 19 seasons with Spurs.
