The Kid Mero’s real name is Joel Martinez. He was born on May 15, 1983, in Washington Heights, Manhattan, USA, to Dominican immigrant parents.

He is a writer and producer, known for Vampires vs. the Bronx, Star vs. the Forces of Evil (2015), and Neo Yokio (2017).

He has made appearances in numerous shows including Joking Off, Bodega Boys, and Wild ‘N Out.
