Stephanie Waring is a British actress who started her acting journey in 1996 and is still appearing in several soap operas and TV series. In 2001, she appeared in the lead role of Tina Clark in the Australian television drama series, “Crash Palace.”
The actress has appeared in several roles in the TV series “Nice Guy Eddie” as Laura McMullen (2001-2002), “Merseybeat” as Lisa Solomon (2003), and “Holby City” as Megan Hunter (2003).
Waring auditioned for the soap opera “Coronation Street” roles of Tracy Barlow and Claire Peacock, but lost out to Kate Ford and Julia Haworth, respectively. Later she got the role of Emma in the soap opera, a character who had given birth to Jason Grimshaw’s child after a one-night stand, initially on Christmas Day in 2006 and then the following Easter when the character discovered the child’s father was the late Charlie Stubbs.

However, she is widely recognized for portraying Cindy Cunningham in “Hollyoaks,” taking over the role from Laura Crossley in 1996. She played the part until 2000, then returned briefly in 2002 and 2004.
In May 2008, executive producer Bryan Kirkwood said that Waring would return to the serial regularly since he believed the serial needed to bring back some established characters. Cindy’s reappearance aired on June 9, 2008.
Waring played her in the second season of Hollyoaks Later. It was reported in March 2010 that Waring would leave the role briefly for maternity leave, her exit aired on September 24, 2010, and she returned to the serial on March 9, 2011. In 2018, she competed in Season 10 of Dancing on Ice and was the second contestant to be eliminated.
