Early Life
Mario John Treadway, better known by his stage name, Suleye. He was born on the 3rd of May 1980 in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, the United States of America. Souleye – Education
During his high school years, he began rapping, from which he graduated in 1999. He went on to attend Western New England College on a basketball scholarship for a year before dropping out.

In 2001, Souleye began writing, performing, and touring with a group of hip-hop artists known as the Transcendental Alliance. A couple of years later, he released an album named “Soul Sessions” with the underground hip-hop artist, ‘Campaign’.
In his personal life, the next few years would be extremely challenging. He lost his best friend to cancer in the year 2003. Moreover, he went to Mount Greylock in Massachusetts after his death and wrote the album, “Flexible Morality in the Woods.”
His brother committed suicide a year later. Universoul Alchemy was launched the same year. He made his breakthrough in 2006 with the release of “Intergalactic Vibes” with producer Samuel “Sleepyhead” Pohner. It won a music competition, which allowed them to participate in the week-long ‘Jamcruise 4.’
Other albums and musical works
He went on to have a lot of success after that. In 2007, he joined the band BLVD and left in 2009. He released the album “Iron Horse Running” in 2013 and ‘Identified Time’ a year later. Moreover, he released another album, “Shapeshifting,” in 2015. “Snow Angel” was released in September of 2017. In November 2019, he released “Soul School,” his another album.

In 2021, he released another album “Hunting Teardrops” working with painter Rob Prior on the cover. He released the single “Emergency” the following year, with Morissette on the chorus. Soon after, he hired legendary music producer ill.GATES to remix the song. It went on to become his most streamed song to date.
His 12th full-length studio album, “Disguised As Tomorrow,” was released on March 3, 2023, and comprises some of his most dynamic and ambitious tracks yet, featuring collaborations with Esjay Jones, fellow rappers Big Samir and Main Flow, and singer/songwriter and activist Lila Rose.
