Sonu made her debut in the Kannada film industry in the film “Inthi Ninna Preethiya” as Namana. Moreover, she worked with actor Srinagar Kitty on her debut film in 2008. In the same year, she appeared as Lakshmi in the Kannada film “Paramesha Panwala” directed by Mahesh Babu. She made a cameo appearance in the film Raam and appeared as Priyanka in the film “Gulama” in 2009.
