Later, she moved to Seoul and auditioned to be a member of the Theatre Company Michu in 1989. That same year, she debuted in the play Shin Yi Gukgi. She made her first appearance as a musical actress in Make a Hero (1990).
For more than a decade, she has practiced groundwork, learning, and training in traditional performing arts, with many minor roles in Madangnori of Michu. Her acting career’s turning point came in the 2003 play ‘Heo Sam-gwan Blood.’ After years of joining Michu, she took on her first lead role as Heo Ok-ran, Heo Sam-gwan’s wife.
