Early Life

Ryan Seaman was born on September 23, 1983, in Oxnard, California, United States. His full name is Ryan Eric Seaman and holds American nationality. His birth sign is Libra and is currently 40 years old as of 2023.

Before joining the band ‘Falling in Reverse’ Ryan Seaman was involved with several bands as a member, studio drummer, or touring drummer. In 2005, Seaman joined the post-hardcore band ‘I Am Ghost,’ and recorded several tracks for their debut album, “Lovers’ Requiem,” which was released in 2006.

In April 2009, he joined the pop rock band ‘The Bigger Lights,’ where he played on two albums and an EP until quitting in May 2011. He has also worked as a drummer with artists including The Brobecks, My Favorite Highway, Matchbook Romance, Vanna, Kiev, and Aiden.

Joined the Band ‘Falling in Reverse’

He joined the post-hardcore band named ‘Falling in Reverse’ replacing former drummer Scott Gee in late May 2011. The band released their debut album “The Drug in Me Is You” on the 26th of July 2011.

He is recognized as a member of the band, despite not having participated in the album’s recording. Seaman appears on the band’s second studio album “Fashionably Late,” which was released on June 18, 2013. The band’s third studio album, “Just Like You,” was released on February 24, 2015.

Around the time of the band’s fourth and most recent album with Seaman, “Coming Home,” it was reported that he had left the band. This was verified when the band played on May 8 without Seaman and with Chris Kamrada on drums.

Later Career

After departing from the band, he plays supporting drums for the rock band ‘Icon for Hire’ starting May 3, 2017. He played drums on Dallon Weekes’ many solo efforts, which prompted Weekes to propose the idea of presenting themselves as a pair under the name ‘I Don’t Know How But They Found Me.’

In November 2014, Seaman appeared on Dallon Weekes’ Christmas song “Sickly Sweet Holidays.” He also performed on Weekes’ second Christmas song, “Please Don’t Jump (It’s Christmas)”, released in November.

Weekes announced Seaman’s departure from the band on social media in September 2023, citing a “series of broken trusts” as the basis for the separation.
