Ryan Ochoa is an American TV Actor. Ryan Ochoa is popular for playing the role of Chuck Chambers on “iCarly”. He was able to make his film debut in the 2007 film “Nostalgia”.

His father’s name is Robert Ochoa and his mother’s name is Deanna Espero Ochoa. He also has three brothers and one sister and their names are Raymond, Rick, Robert, and Destiny. And, along with his brothers formed the music group, “Ochoa Boyz”.

Career and Professional Life

Ryan Ochoa started his acting career when he was 5 years old. And, since he was a toddler, he has always loved to entertain family and friends. He would imitate WWE Superstars like Dwayne Johnson, who to this day is still one of his favourite actors and biggest inspirations.

He was able to book his first commercial audition and then got his first national commercial for “Dairy Queen” when he was 8 years old. Through this, he caught the acting bug and went on to do more national commercials. One in particular was with his two younger brothers Robert Ochoa and Raymond Ochoa, who were in the spot with him.

Likewise, Ochoa started to expand his career by booking his first theatrical role in a short film. This helped him lead to a couple of indie features. Eventually, he was able to land his first feature film “The Perfect Game” in the year 2009. The film was a true story about the 1957 Mexican Little League team from Monterrey who were the first non-U.S team to win the Little League World Series.

However, his big breakthrough was around in the year 2008. That year, he got the opportunity to star in the motion capture film “A Christmas Carol”. He went on to receive multiple credited roles in the film including the voice of Tiny Tim as well. And, when the production ended, he got the opportunity to work for Mr. Zemeckis on two more movies he was producing, including “Mars Needs Moms” in the year 2011.

Ryan then was able to feature as Chuck Chambers in a recurring role on Nickelodeon’s hit show “iCarly” as the nemesis to Spencer. This is one of his popular appearances. The production then again went on to cast him as a series regular on Disney XD’s “Pair of Kings” in the year 2010.

He got the opportunity to be on the show for 3 seasons where he was able to star in all episodes produced. Then, his first leading role in a film was with Universal/Disney in the movie “Mostly Ghostly: Have You Met My Ghoulfriend?” in the year 2014.

Moreover, Ryan went on to form a music “hip-hop-hype” group with his three brothers Rick Ochoa, Robert Ochoa, and Raymond Ochoa, the “Ochoa Boyz” in the year 2012. They have gone on to tour the U.S. performing at hundreds of concerts as well as private events.

Also, their music can be heard in several of the movies Ryan and Raymond have starred in. The group writes, co-produces, and directs their own music and music videos together with Ryan’s production company, “Triple ‘R’ Productions”.

Ochoa had the opportunity to work alongside the talented Hal Linden in “The Samuel Project”. And, in the movie, he was able to play the role of Eli, an aspiring artist who forms a special bond with his grandfather, Samuel.

Also, their performances were recognized with “Best Actor” nominations at the San Diego Film Awards. On top of that, the film itself also received accolades, winning “Best Narrative Feature” and “Best Director”. On the other hand, Ochoa’s journey continued as he was able to appear in the Netflix documentary series “Medal of Honor”.

Expansion of his profession

After wrapping up “The Medal of Honor”, Ochoa went to Sedona, Arizona to star in the thriller “Room for Rent” alongside Lin Shaye. Also, Casey Price who is the 1st Assistant Director on “The Samuel Project” referred Ryan to the director for this opportunity.

Apart from acting, he along with his brothers went on to release their debut album “R-TYPE” at the beginning of 2020. They were able to write all 17 tracks themselves and each brother even has their own individual track on the album.

Also, Ochoa is not only producing films now but also directing short films as well as music videos in between his own projects. And, currently working on new shows to be released later this year.
