Osgood’s district had its name changed to 32 and its boundaries moved to the south as a result of the redistricting process in 2022. On August 23, 2022, Osgood ran for re-election to the Florida State Senate to represent District 32.
Osgood is the first woman to be called a minister at the New Mount Olive Baptist Church in Fort Lauderdale, in addition to her career in public service. She also serves as associate pastor of the church. She is the head of the church’s community development division, Mount Olive Development Corp. Osgood has her ministry and was appointed as the City of Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s first female chaplain in 2013.
