WNBL and WNBA career
She has played with Dandenong Rangers (2009–2010), Australian Institute of Sport (2010–2012), Melbourne Boomers (2012–2015), and South East Queensland Stars (2015–2016) in the domestic Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL). In addition to the WNBL, she was a member of the Knox Raiders in the 2013 SEABL season, when the club won the championship.
She signed as a free agent with the New York Liberty for the 2015 WNBA season after her performance in the World Championship, where she won a bronze medal. She scored six points in her WNBA debut against Atlanta in the Liberty’s 2015 season opener. Allen had a season-ending right knee cartilage injury early in the 2015 season and chose to return home to Australia for surgery. She debuted for the Gems at the 2011 FIBA Under-19 Women’s World Championship in Chile.
