She was the one who was able to originate the role of ‘Leap’ in Rumble Theatre’s “The Society of the Destitute presents: Titus Bouffonius”. For this, she even earned a Jessie Richardson Award for ‘Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble’.
She even played the title role of Pinocchio in Theatre Replacement’s East Van Panto production of PINOCCHIO. Her other roles are the Vancouver Sun’s and the Georgia Straight’s “Artist to Watch”.
Other credits of her are Supernatural, Van Helsing, Hell on Wheels, Roadies, and supporting lead roles in feature films #Roxy and Christmas Solo. Also, in the year 2019, she was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for “Best Performance in a Feature” for her role in #Roxy.

Mackie is a playwright as well and works primarily in the style of satire. She addresses current social as well as environmental issues, with an absurdist and comedic twist. Also, her work has been performed on stages and at festivals across North America.
Likewise, six of her one-act plays have been produced and performed as part of Speakeasy Theatre’s Pull Festival. One of her latest comedies Hurricane Mona received Touchstone Theatre’s David King Prize. She even was invited to attend the 50th Banff Playwrights Lab, with Hurricane Mona.
