Pauly D is a famous DJ and also a TV star who is popular for being a part of MTV’s reality show, “Jersey Shore“. Pauly D is the first of the Jersey Shore members to launch his private spin-off show, “The Pauly D Project“.
Early Life
Pauly D’s full name is Paul DelVecchio Jr. who was born on 5th July 1980, in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. The famous DJ is an American native and is of Italian ethnicity. Likewise, their age is forty-three years old as of 2023, and are following Christianity. The name of his father is Paul D. DelVecchio Sr. and his mother is Donna DiCarlo who is of Italian descent. He was raised in Providence and Johnston, Rhode Island, together with his sibling, Vanessa.
As for his education, the DJ went to ‘Johnston High School’ which is in Rhode Island. Paul D’s initial motivation was Adam Michael Goldstein whose stage name is DJ AM. In the year 2009, Pauly D became a member of the famous American reality TV show, ‘Jersey Shore’ which premiered on MTV. Then, he exposed that his reputation being a DJ wasn’t the reason for his presence in the show. The DJ even stated that the creators of ‘Jersey Shore’ had communicated with him over an online website, Myspace after liking his appearances. After cooperating with the agents of ‘Jersey Shore’ complete Myspace, he gave his phone number to them, post which he was called by the show’s casting directors.
The casting directors had phoned from Los Angeles to notify him that they would send some of their team members to his apartment to record a day in his life. MTV’s camera team monitored him for a whole day. This took, them to his gym, club, and many others he would routinely go to. After 6 months, the American DJ got a phone call from the creators of ‘Jersey Shore’ and informed him that he was going to be a part of the show. His fame increased after being present in the same reality series which provoked famous publications to write about him.
The American weekly news magazine ‘Time’ defined his admirers as ‘seriously rabid’, which says volumes about the adoration his admirers have for him. His fame even promoted him in his music career and he brought out his single, “Beat Dat Beat” in the year 2010. That same year, he got a nomination for being ‘America’s Best DJ.’ Likewise, he again got a nomination for the alike competition the next year. On 11th August 2011, the DJ declared that he had protected an agreement to bring 3 albums below 50 Cent’s record labels, “G-Unit Records” and “G-Note Records”.

Then, he went on to work with rapper Big Sean in July 2012 for one of his approaching albums. To this day, the American DJ has collected massive followers all over social media platforms. Due to his fan following, the organizers of ‘World Wrestling Entertainment’ had to hire him as the new ambassador for ‘SummerSlam’.

The 1st season of the show had twelve episodes and was centered on his career being a DJ.
In 2016, he brought out a single track, ‘Did You Know’, and even was chosen to be a member of a reality TV series, ‘Famously Single’. He was then present in the 1st season of the show that was out on ‘Entertainment Television’ on 14th June 2016. In 2016, the American DJ got a role of himself to play in a short movie, ‘Spring Break Zombie Massacre.’ Moreover, he was reminded by the creators of ‘Jersey Shore’ in 2018 who desired him to be a member of the show’s follow-up, ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’.
