Investigators believe Waldron’s husband brought the dog to the Catskill Animal Hospital for treatment, according to WNYT-TV. He told the TV station that the allegations against his wife were false. He refused to speak to the television station on camera.
Peaches Survived
The dog Peaches was rushed into emergency surgery at the Catskill Animal Hospital after she was stabbed multiple times. Meanwhile, the procedure took several hours, according to WNYT-TV, but she survived.
The dog was then taken to a “specialist veterinary clinic” for further treatment. According to Perez, the dog may require a second surgery and months of therapy. After this incident, the other five dogs were found at Waldron’s home and were not harmed.
