Later, it was converted into a movie with the same name and Onaodowan reprised the same role in the movie which was released in 2020.

Before his breakthrough in “Hamilton,” he had already made a name for himself in the theater world. He appeared in various regional productions and Off-Broadway shows, showcasing his versatile acting and singing abilities. Some of his notable stage credits include “Rocky” on Broadway, “Bonnie & Clyde” at the Asolo Repertory Theatre, and “Luce” at Lincoln Center Theater.
In addition to his work on stage, Onaodowan has also ventured into television and film. He has appeared in TV shows such as “Gravity” (2010), “NYC 22” (2012), “Blue Bloods” (2014), “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (2016), and “The Get Down” (2017). Meanwhile, he had a recurring role in the series “Grey’s Anatomy” playing the role of firefighter Dean Miller from 2018-2021. Later, he reprised the same role in the series’ second spin-off named “Station 19” from 2018-2021 appearing in 59 episodes.
On the big screen, he appeared in movies such as “Thanks for Sharing” (2012), “The Super” (2017), “A Quiet Place Part II” and “Molli and Max in the Future” (2023). He will co-star with Jessica Chastain in a revival of “A Doll’s House” directed by Jamie Lloyd and adapted by Amy Herzog in 2023. The play has a strict 16-week run that concludes in June 2023.
