Nothando Hlophe started singing as a Sunday school student at Lobamba Christian Fellowship Church. Then, in the year 2008, she went on to participate in the Gospel Challenge and ended up placing seventh among four hundred contestants.
Later on, she had the opportunity to perform as an opening act for Joyous Celebration with Redeem Child. She even got the opportunity to work as a backing vocalist for artists such as Frans Dlamini, Banele Dlamini, and God’s Property.
After some time, she was able to become a member of the musical group “Women in Praise”. The group is affiliated with the Spirit Music Group. Being a member of the group, she went on to contribute to the creation of the live album “Women in Praise: Live in Swaziland”. It was when she also performed songs like “Khulula ugcobo” and “Sekukaningi”. She was able to release her very first solo album “Impilo Yami” in May 2016.
Likewise, in October 2016, Nothando had the opportunity to perform at Swazi Gospel Night alongside other talented gospel artists from Eswatini. She also is the lead vocalist for the gospel band “Khululugcobo”.
And, in the year 2019, she went on to have a fantastic year by winning Female Artist of the Year, Best Gospel Artist, as well as Song of the Year for her single “Yebo” at the MTN SWAMA Awards. Unfortunately, like many artists, she had to take a break from performing and recording due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Moreover, after announcing her comeback in February 2022, Hlophe had a remarkable performance at The Great Revival in Mbabane alongside some incredible artists. She even announced her third album that same year.

Nothando Hlophe got engaged to Prince Majahonkhe Dlamini in September 2019. Her partner is the son of King Mswati III and Inkhosikati LaMotsa. During their engagement, she became pregnant and gave birth to their adorable son, Prince Alakhiwelivelemaswati Dlamini, on June 16, 2020.
The pair officially tied the knot on September 19, 2021, and now Nothando is known as Inkhosikati LaHlophe and is Prince Majahonkhe’s first and senior wife.
