After the split, Kamen embarked on a solo career releasing his debut solo album titled Peacemaker in 1992. However, his solo career did not attain the same level of success as his work with the band.
Additionally, he continued to be involved in the music industry, working on various projects and collaborations. Sadly, he passed away on May 4, 2021, leaving behind a legacy of memorable songs and contributions to the pop music scene of the 1980s.
