He ended his freshman season with 12 games played, eight starts, 58 tackles, and a fumble forced.
Similarly, he started 11 games as a sophomore in 2018 and finished with 53 tackles, one interception, and one fumble recovery. He stated his decision to transfer following the season, and while initially committed to BYU, he ultimately transferred to Utah. He appeared in three games and had 14 tackles in his debut season with the school.
Likewise, he switched from safety to linebacker for the 2020 season, finishing second on the team with 40 tackles while starting all five games. He appeared in 13 games in 2021, starting all but one of them at linebacker. Then, he finished second on the team with 89 tackles and also had one forced fumble and one interception.
Furthermore, he recorded three games with ten tackles and was ranked ninth in average tackles-per-game with 6.8, earning him first-team all-conference honors. He concluded his collegiate career with 44 starts and 44 games played. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New Orleans Saints after being undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Additionally, on August 30, he was released and re-signed to the practice squad. On November 10, he was upgraded to the active roster, and he made his NFL debut in the Saints’ 20-10 loss in Week 10. Then, on December 17, he was released and resigned from the practice squad. On January 9, 2023, he agreed to terms on a reserve/future contract.
