Early Life

In 1995, she started working for them in Chandigarh. She worked there for six months and she repositioned to Dehli, where her husband had been transferred. After that, she began working from there.

Being a journalist, she primarily worked as a political analyst and news anchor and working for the Times Now channel for the last 16 years. Moreover, Times Now has launched its new channel in Hindi- Times Now Navbharat and Navika Kumar worked as its Editor-in-chief. She is the host of Times Now’s The Newshour, which airs at 9 p.m. In addition, she is the anchor of the interviewing show Frankly Speaking in which she asks politicians and celebrities.

Controversies
She was charged with being implicated in the Republic TV TRP scam on the 18th of January 2021. Likewise, she allegedly used a derogatory term for Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during a live political debate program on 29th Septem 2021.
Soon after, she realized her false statement on the live broadcast, and she apologized for her disrespectful behavior on her Twitter page. Likewise, four Bollywood industry associations and thirty-four top Bollywood production houses filed a civil lawsuit against Navika, Arnab Goswami, and Pradip Bhandari for their unethical reporting on the 13th of October 2020.
