Natalie Sawyer began her journalism career with Sky Sports News in the year 2002. And, it was right after she finished college. She began as a production junior, doing tasks such as making tea and coffee, handling scripts, and escorting guests to the studio. But, at the same time, she also was able to work at the channel’s production studio.
Eventually, she got the opportunity to work on news tickers, which she really enjoyed. During that time, she even went on to cover rugby games for the Rugby Union department. And, her hard work paid off when she was asked to do a screen test for one of their shows, and she was selected. It was the moment when she became one of Sky’s most popular presenters.
Sawyer was able to become the presenter of their ‘Transfer Deadline Day’ coverage as well. Here, she got the opportunity to report on all the updates during the transfer window.
