In the year 2001, Mikey Way joined the rock band My Chemical Romance. In 2004, 2 years later, they released their second album titled ‘Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge’.

Unfortunately, in the year 2013,  the band dissolved. After his breakup with the band My Chemical Romance, he gave his career a new turn. Later, Mikey Way moved on to form a new band with the Sleep Station vocalist David Debiak.

Together, they named their band ‘Electric Century’. Finally, in the year 2014, the band released their first song titled ‘I Lied’. In addition, their track ‘Let You Get Away’ came out, in the following year.

He and Debiak started working on their debut album, after working on these tracks. On April 18, 2015, they came up with an album titled Electric Century, which was a great success. Moreover, their singles ‘Right There’ and ‘Hail the Saints’ were released.
