Michael Oher is an American Football offensive tackle for the National Football League Carolina Panthers. Michael Oher played college football for the University of Mississippi and earned unanimous All-American honors in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

Michael Oher was born on May 28, 1986, in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Currently, he is 36 years old. He was from a low-income family.

Collins Tuohy is Michael’s adoptive sister. She was born on December 29, 1986, in the United States. He is the director and co-owner of the Whimsy Cookie Company.

She has appeared in many movies, including The Highwaymen (2019), Night of the Loup Garou (2010), and Family Addition with Leigh Anne Tuohy (2013).

Michael Oher – Education
Michael Oher studied at Briarcrest Christian School. He started enjoying football at school. Likewise, he got training on football from coaches ‘Hugh Freeze and Tim Long’
He was not so good in his academic records, but his interest in football was always in first position from an early age. He got scholarships from many universities.
But, he chose the University of Mississippi because he wanted to play for Ed Orgeron, one of the head football coaches at the University of Mississippi. In 2009, Oher graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Criminal Justice.

Michael started his career at an early age. He started playing football in his 1st year at his high school. He began playing for the Ole Miss Rebels football team.
Also, he played as a guard on the team and was named the Freshman All-America. In 2006, he changed position and started playing left tackle. In 2008, he showed his interest in joining the 2008 NFL Draft.
After two days, he declared his withdrawal from the draft to return to the Ole Miss football team for his senior season.
He engaged with the 2009 National Football League Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. In 2010, he played the right tackle, and the Ravens won against the New England Patriots by 33-14.

Michael won the ‘First Team Freshman All-American’, ‘First Team All-Quad Freshman Chrome Tackle Letius’, and ‘First Team SEC All-Freshman’.
In the same year, he won the ‘Second-team All-SEC’. Likewise, in 2007, he won ‘Shug Jordan’ as the ‘Southeast Offensive Lineman of the Year’,
