Death of Selena Quintanilla
Marcella Samora’s family had known Yolanda Saldivar for a little while. A self-proclaimed fan of Selena, Yolanda wanted to set up a fan club for the singer. So, in the year 1991, Abraham gave his permission and told her to serve as its president. Then, in January 1994, she became the manager of Selena’s boutiques. However, Selena’s family soon found out that Yolanda had been embezzling money from the fan club and the boutiques with fake checks and confronted her about it.
