Manish Raisinghan is a television actor and model from India. Manish Raisinghan is best known for playing the role of Sameer Gheewala in the Indian television series “Teen Bahuraniyaan” and Siddhant Bharadwaj in “Sasural Simar Ka.”
Early Life
On Sunday, 22nd of July 1979, Manish Raisinghan was born in Solapur, Maharashtra, India. He is an Indian by nationality and he belongs to a Sindhi Family. Moreover, he has his belief in the Hinduism religion. In addition, he is currently 44 years old and has a birth sign of Cancer.
Manish was born to his parents Baldev Singh Raisinghan (father) and Pooja Raisinghan (mother). Professionally, his father works as an Investment & Financial Consultant. Manish grew up with his sister Soniya Prithiani.
Additionally, he is also a martial arts expert, a Reiki specialist, and an avid photographer. Raisinghan holds black belts in karate, kung fu, and kickboxing. Manish Raisinghan – Education
Talking about his academics, he went to Karnatak High School, in Pune, Maharashtra. After completing high school, he went to Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Pune, Maharashtra. From there, he did his B. Tech (mechanical).
Professional Career
Initially, Manish Raisinghan started his career as a model. During his college years, his seniors asked him to participate in an inter-college fashion show; as they were short of one model. Manish was chosen as the show’s best model during the event. He was inspired by this event to pursue modeling and acting. Later, he entered the Grasim Mr. India contest in 2002, and he placed among the contest’s finalists. At the contest, he took home three awards: “Mr. Photogenic,” “Mr. Best Smile,” and “Mr. Best Dressed Male.” He then worked as a ramp and print model.
After having huge success as a model, he entered the acting industry. He started his acting career in 2004 with the TV serial, “Kaahin Kissii Roz” in which he played the role of Aditya Apoorva Sikand. Later, he appeared in several TV serials such as “Kahiin to Hoga” (2004-2007), “Tumhari Disha” (2006), “Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai” (2007), “Jab Love Hua” (2006) and “Waaris” (2008).

However, he rose to fame after playing the role of Sameer Manohar Gheewala in the TV serial, “Teen Bahuraaniyaan” (2007-2009). In the serial, he played the role of Sameer Gheewala. He then played the part of Siddhant Rajendra Bharadwaj in the TV serial “Sasural Simar Ka” (2011-2016). In the 2017 TV serial “Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman,” Manish was cast as “Shiva.”
Recently, he portrayed the role of Virat Sethi / Manav Deshmukh in the 2022 Color TV serial “Nima Denzongpa.” Apart from television serials, he has made guest appearances in the reality show “Bigg Boss 6,7.” Meanwhile, he appeared in a cameo in the Bollywood movies “Heroine” (2012) and “Kahani Rubberband Ki” (2022).
In addition to his work as an actor, Manish has directed a large number of short films, including “Almost,” “Ankahee Baatein,” “When I Met Myself,” “I Me Myself,” and “Now U Listen.”

As an actor, Manish has won a couple of awards in his career. In 2015, he won the ITA Popular Rishtey-Naate Award. The next year, he won the Golden Petal Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. In 2018, he won The International Iconic Award for Most Prominent Actor.
