She was also confirmed as the UK’s performer for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, and her entry “I Wrote a Song” was released on the same day, becoming the first UK Eurovision entry to debut in the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart in almost a decade. Despite great expectations, Muller’s Eurovision entry ended second from last with 24 points in the competition final on May 14th, 2023.
