Early Life
Lyn-Z was born in Dunoon, Scotland, on the 21st of May 1976. Her birth name is Lindsey Ann Ballato, she is also known by the name of Lynz Way and Lindsey Way. According to the astrological chart, she has a birth sign of Gemini and is currently 47 years old as of 2023. She is a Scottish citizen and belongs to Scottish ethnicity.

Initially, Lyn-Z worked in New York as a window display artist. In 2001, she joined the band Mindless Self Indulgence (MSI). She had no idea how to play bass or even what tablature was before joining the band.
With time, she began to adopt the talent. She was in the Dolly Parton cover band ‘Beg Yer Parton,’ which had punk elements. The band MSI released its 1st live album “Alienating Our Audience” under the recording label, Uppity Cracker in the year 2002.
She later appeared on the band’s EP “Despierta Los Nios” in 2003, “Another Mindless Rip Off” in 2006, and “<3” in 2010. Lyn Z has also recorded albums with the band, including “You’ll Rebel to Anything,” “If,” and “How I Learned to Stop Giving a Shit and Love Mindless Self Indulgence.”

Apart from being a bassist for the band, she is also a talented artist. She launched her collective artwork, HUSH at the Dark Dark Science Gallery on the 13th of November 2010. Meanwhile, the exhibition was called Smile Even If It Hurts.
She launched some artwork on her official website on the 11th of December 2010. Moreover, she also contributed to the South Park 15th Anniversary Art Exhibition at the Opera Gallery in New York.
