Lonnie Chavis was born in Downey, California, the United States on 23 November 2007. His full name is Lonnie Chavis, Jr. He is 16 years old under the zodiac sign Sagittarius. Chavis holds an American nationality and follows the Christian religion.
Regarding his family background, he is the son of Lonnie Chavis (Father) and Najah Chavis (Mother). Chavis was raised along with his four siblings, three brothers Tyler Chavis, Andrew Chavis, and Ryan Chavis, and a sister whose name is unknown.

Talking about his career, Chavis joined the cast of This Is Us in 2016 as a young Randall Pearson, played by Sterling K. Brown. Early in 2017, Chavis made a guest appearance on The Thundermans on Nickelodeon, his favorite Show. Later that year, Chavis made an appearance in an episode of Supergirl on The CW.
In season 2 of This Is Us, he was promoted to series regular in June 2017. Further, Chavis went on to co-star with Jay Pharoah in the Jamie Foxx-executive produced comedy White Famous. The series, according to Chavis, was his introduction to improvisation.
In Disney’s Magic Camp, which also starred Adam DeVine, Chavis made his feature film debut. Additionally, he was also starred in Kevin Hart’s 2019 Netflix original film Guide to Black History.
Chavis also made an appearance in Guy Nattiv’s short film Skin. At the 91st Academy Awards, the movie took home the trophy for Best Live-Action Short Film.
Chavis was paired with Jason Wiles in Sunny Daze which was directed by Wiles. Moreover, he was cast opposite Oscar nominee David Oyelowo in Oyelowo’s feature film directorial debut, The Water Man, in 2019.
In addition to Chavis, Rosario Dawson also starred in the movie, and Oprah Winfrey served as executive producer. Chavis made his feature film debut with the movie, and he acknowledged that Oyelowo helped him develop as an actor.
Chavis was chosen to play the lead role in the thriller The Boy Behind the Door, which was written and directed by Justin Powell and David Charbonier.
