Military Enlistment
He enlisted for mandatory national military service on 8 March 2019. Due to his car accident at the age of 16 years, he tore his anterior cruciate ligament.
As a result, the actor was deemed unfit for an active-duty soldier for his military service. Therefore, he worked as a public service officer.
The actor was expected to complete his service on 31 December 2020. However, Jong-suk was discharged from the military on 2 January 2021.
