Laurence Fox was born in Leeds, England, United Kingdom, on 26 May 1978. Currently, he is 45 years old, and his zodiac sign is Gemini as per the astrological chart. After working as a gardener and an office worker, he ultimately followed in his family’s footsteps and enrolled at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art), where he graduated in 2001.

During his time in RADA, Laurence Fox started appearing in stage production. ‘The Wild Duck,’ ‘Titus Andronicus,’ ‘Ulysses,’ ‘The Wild Goose Chase,’ and ‘The Provoked Wife’ are some of his stage works.
He made his acting debut playing the role of Geoff Bingham in the British psychological horror thriller film “The Hole.” That same year, he appeared in the Academy Award-winning satirical black comedy mystery film “Gosford Park” playing the role of Lord Rupert Standish.
In 2002, he portrayed the role of Captain Bramwell Jennings in the British-German horror war film “Deathwatch.” The same year, he made his television debut in the ITV drama series “Ultimate Force” where he is seen playing the role of Cpl. Mick Sharp in a couple of episodes.
During this period, he appeared on stage in Harold Brighouse’s play Hobson’s Choice (2001) as Fred Beanstock and George Bernard Shaw’s play Mrs Warren’s Profession (2002) as Frank Gardner.
In 2003, he played the role of Ralph Partridge in the Spanish-English romance comedy-drama film “Al sur de Granada.” He also played the role of Simon Walker in an episode of the detective drama series “Foyle’s War.”
In 2004, he played the German airman Bernhardt Tellemann in the British television miniseries “Island at War,” and the following year he was cast as SS officer Major Kessler in the British Romanian war film “The Last Drop” and a British soldier Capt. Tom Willis in the two-part miniseries “Colditz.”
He then was seen in an episode of ITV’s period crime drama miniseries “Jericho” and in a couple of episodes of BBC’s miniseries documentary “Egypt” in the year 2005. That same year, he portrayed the role of Prince Charles in the TV film “Whatever Love Means.”
Continued his successful acting career
His performance in ‘Colditz’ gained the notice of actor Kevin Whately, who suggested him for the character of Detective Sergeant James Hathaway in ITV’s 2006 detective drama series “Lewis,” a spinoff from Inspector Morse. Kevin Whately portrayed Sergeant/Detective Inspector Robert Lewis in both the original and the spinoff. Moreover, the series ran until 2015.

In 2006, he was cast in the role of James Pearson in the detective television series “Agatha Christie’s Marple.” Additionally, he was associated with stage continued with playwright John Ford’s tragedy play Tis Pity She’s a Whore (2005) and Christopher Hampton’s romantic drama play Treats (2006–2007).
He played the role of Cecil Vyse in the ITV’s television movie “A Room with a View” in the year 2007. At the same time, he was seen in two biographical films; “Becoming Jane” and “Elizabeth: The Golden Age.”

He also played Lawrence of Arabia in the historical drama “Born a King” in 2019 and Owen in the drama “Us Among the Stones.” Additionally, he released his second album, “A Grief Observed,” the same year.
Moreover, he appeared on Netflix in the British-Spanish mystery thriller series White Lines in 2020. He played Hunter Biden in filmmaker Robert Davi’s movie “My Son Hunter” in 2021, co-starring with fellow conservatives Gina Carano and John James.
Politics
Fox, a conservative, publicly criticized the George Floyd protests and the COVID-19 vaccines scheduled for release in 2020. He ran unsuccessfully in the 2021 London mayoral election after establishing the right-wing populist political party Reclaim in protest to what he called “extreme political correctness.” He received 1.9% of the vote, resulting in a loss of his election deposit. Several conflicts and legal battles have marred his political career.

Since late 2019, Laurence Fox has been dating Sara McKinnon. However, McKinnon dumped Laurence after his controversial comments in Question Time.
Following that, he began dating journalist Madeline Grant. However, the couple split up after a short time, and he is now back with McKinnon. The pair are living together in Fox’s London home and isolating themselves during the Coronavirus outbreak that has affected the UK.

Previously. he married to actress Billie Piper. With the marriage, the couple has two sons; Winston James Fox and Eugene Pip. Laurence confirmed their split on his Facebook page on March 24, 2016. The couple announced their divorce on May 12, 2016.
