Early Life and Childhood
Kendrick Lamar was born in Compton, California, United States on the 17th of June 1987. His birth name is Kendrick Lamar Duckworth. He is 35 years old (as of 2023) under the zodiac sign Gemini. Lamar holds an American nationality and follows the Christian religion.
Regarding his family background, he is the son of Kenny Duckworth (Father) and Paula Oliver (Mother). In honor of the singer-songwriter Eddie Kendricks, his mother gave him that name. Lamar grew up along with his sister Kayla Duckworth.
