Paul made his T20I debut for the West Indies against Pakistan on April 1, 2018. He made his Test debut for the West Indies on July 13, 2018.

Cricket West Indies (CWI) nominated him as one of 10 reserve players in the West Indies’ roster for the 2019 Cricket World Cup in May 2019.
