Even before she began filming for “The Battle at Home” or “Flicka,” Kaylee DeFer had a humiliating wardrobe accident. She first met fashion designer Linda Loudermilk at a yoga studio while she was at Sundance to support a friend’s film.

DeFer was encouraged to wear a dress Loudermilk had been working on for four months around the home for the day. She was very careful, but the dress had no top stick, and she didn’t notice she had a wardrobe malfunction until her horrified mother called a few months later.
