She appeared as a guest star in several television shows, including Ellen, Chicago Hope, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Practice, 7th Heaven, Soul Food, Touched by an Angel, Justified, and many more.
Her stage credits include Rose Maxson in August Wilson’s Fences, which she performed in at South Coast Repertory. Her starting professional appearance was as a guest on the medical drama St. Elsewhere.
Furthermore, She is best known as Edna Barnes in the TBS sitcom Meet the Browns, in which she starred from 2009 to 2011. She appeared in The Division, The Bold and the Beautiful, and, Star on Fox from 2017 to 2019.
She also appeared in the drama Pearson and the Oprah Winfrey Network drama David Makes Man in 2019. Her latest work was as Mrs. Hertrude in the drama television series titled David Makes Man in 2019.
