He was loyal to Paul and did what he wanted for the most part, but he eventually realized Paul was making everyone else do his dirty work, and he saw how dominant Paul’s game was. Then, he started using his goodbye messages to expose Paul’s lies, eventually preventing his attempts to shift all blame onto him and Christmas.
Several times during the game’s final weeks, he considered turning on Paul, especially after winning the Final 5 HOH, but he never did. When he won the final HoH, he took the risky decision of bringing Paul to the final 2, believing that the jury disliked Paul more than himself or Christmas.
His risky decision paid off, and he won by a vote of 5-4. And, he was named the winner of Big Brother season 19 and is the first Latino and Cuban to win it. Meanwhile, he has appeared on several other reality shows, including “The Challenge” and “Ex on the Beach.” He was cast in the soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful” after winning Big Brother.
