Jolene Van Vugt started her professional career in 2003, becoming the CMRC Ladies Ontario Provincial Champion in the process.
She went on to win the CMX Canadian National Championship and the TransCan Canadian Grand National Championship in the same year.
She won the CMRC Ladies Ontario Provincial Champion and the National WMA Pro National Series for the second time in 2004. In addition, she took first place in the CMX Ladies Canadian National Championship.
In 2005, she became the first woman to backflip a full-sized dirtbike, and she finished third in the Ladies Ontario Provincial.

After the injury, returned to action
Jolene Van Vugt returned to competition in 2007 after recovering from her injuries and won the TransCan Canadian Grand National Championship for ladies.
She broke the world record for becoming the first woman to backflip a motocross bike into the Grand Canyon not long after.
She also competed in the 2007 WMA Pro National Budds Creek and Steel City, finishing 13th and 15th respectively. Every championship, the Stuntwoman delivered an outstanding performance.
She also set two Guinness World Records in 2008, one for being the first woman to backflip a dirt bike and the other for being the longest female backflip.
She finished 11th in the WMA Pro National Southwick championship as well. In 2008, she became the first woman to jump at MOD FMX in Austria, and in 2010,
she became the first woman to backflip a full-sized dirt bike ramp to ramp. She also competed in the 2010 X-Games Women’s Supercross, finishing seventh.
She also performed as FMX and BMX in the Live-Action Sports event Nitro Circus Live in Australia later that year.
From 2011 to 2015
Jolene Van Vugt also performed as an FMX and BMX performer for the Nitro Circus Live New Zealand Tour in 2011.
She quickly attracted the attention of the film business and appeared in the Nitro Circus 3D Movie as the main cast member.
In addition, she also holds the record for the fastest land speed on a motorized toilet, which she set in 2012.
She also competed in the NCL European Tour, where she made history by becoming the first female to backflip a combo trick and a one-handed backflip.
