Early life
John Gotti was born on October 27, 1940, in the South Bronx, New York. His father is J. Joseph Gotti and his mother is Fannie Gotti. They both were Italian immigrants. He was the fifth of 13 children in a family whose income came only from their father’s unpredictable work as a day laborer.
