Jo In-Sung initially made his debut as a model in the entertainment industry in 1998. And, it was for Ziozia, a clothing brand. He made his acting debut in the year 2000 through ‘School 3’. It was a South Korean teenage drama series. Also, he appeared in the South Korean sitcom ‘New Nonstop’. Likewise, he acted in a supporting role in SBS’s romance series ‘Piano’ in 2001.
And, he also acted as a lead in the drama ‘Shoot for the Stars’ in the year 2002. There, he played the role of an illiterate person. Moreover, he made his film debut in the year 2002 in the movie ‘Public Toilet’. In-Sung appeared in the romantic melodrama movie ‘Sang-Min’ in ‘The Classic in 2003. After joining IOK Company in 2012, he appeared in the television series ‘That Winter, The Wind Blows’ in 2013 which was the remake of a Japanese series. And, this was a major hit, reaching the number one place in that time slot.
He appeared in ‘It’s Okay, That’s Love’, in 2014 which is a medical melodrama television series on SBS. For this drama, he received ‘Daesang (Grand Prize)’ at the ‘3rd APAN Star Awards.’ Likewise, in the year 2017, he also played a significant role in the crime thriller ‘The King’ which drew the attention of almost 5.3 million viewers.
And, in the year 2017, it was announced that In-Sung would be playing the lead role in the historical movie ‘Ansi City’. In-Sung won the Best Young Actor at the KBS Drama Awards in the year 2000 for ‘School 3’. Likewise, in 2001, he won the ‘Excellence Award’ for the sitcom ‘New Nonstop’ at ‘MBC Entertainment Awards.’ He was also awarded the ‘Netizen Popularity Award’ at the ‘SBS Drama Awards twice.
