Jamie Kennedy was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, the United States, on the 25th of May 1970. His full name is James Harvey Kennedy and he is a US citizen.

After completing his high school graduation, Jamie Kennedy began his career as a Hollywood extra and also worked on voice impersonations. He played the role of Tim Avery in the 2005 comedy film “Son of the Mask” which got him a Golden Raspberry Award nomination for Worst Actor. Sources reported in April 2010 that Kennedy would very likely return to the Scream franchise to star in the fourth installment,

However, according to Scream screenwriter Kevin Williamson, no plans were ever made for him to rejoin the franchise, attributing the misinformation to Kennedy. However, he provided a voice cameo for Partygoer in the slasher film “Scream” (2022).
