From a young age, Jahshaun Anglin started playing football. In his home country, he played for Harbour View F.C. With his good skills and abilities, he signed with Miami FC. On the 29th of January 2021, he signed with the club. Moreover, the club is in the second division USL Championship.
International Career
On March 10, 2020, Anglin was called up to the Jamaica senior team for a friendly matchup against Bermuda. The following day, he made his international debut, replacing Peter-Lee Vassell in the 58th minute of Jamaica’s 2-0 victory over the opposition.
Sexual battery charge
However, after playing just 15 games with Miami FC, he was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting. He was arrested on September 28, 2021, in University Park, Florida, for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman on the campus of Florida International University, where Miami FC plays its home games. Moreover, he was later charged with sexual battery on one count. In addition, he was being held in custody on a $10,000 bond.
According to police reports, he undressed before asking the woman—who claims she had never met him before—for sex. Anglin is accused of having the woman pinned to the ground after she refused to share a bed with him.
The alleged abuse only ended when someone entered the apartment and broke up the scene. The woman, who was sobbing from the experience, called the police and identified Anglin.
