Todd Brian Frazier was selected by the Cincinnati Reds with the 34th overall selection of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut for the Reds on May 23, 2011. Moreover, he spent a significant portion of his early career with the Cincinnati Reds. He was known for his power-hitting and versatility in the field. Additionally, he was named an MLB All-Star during his time with the Reds.
In December 2015, he was traded to the Chicago White Sox. He continued to be a productive player during his time with the White Sox. In July 2017, he was traded to the New York Yankees and contributed to the team’s playoff run during his tenure with the Yankees. He signed a two-year contract with New York Met in February 2018 and played till 2019.

In January 2020, he signed a one-year deal with the Texas Rangers. He was traded to the Mets in exchange for Ryder Ryan in August 2020. Meanwhile, he finished the 2020 season hitting .236/.302/.382 with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs over 45 games between the Rangers and the Mets.
He also had played for the minor league team Pittsburgh Pirates as well as for the Frontier League team Sussex County Miners. He also represented the United States national baseball team in qualifying for baseball at the 2020 Summer Olympics in May 2021. On July 2, he was named to the Olympic roster after the team qualified. The team went on to win silver, losing the gold medal game to Japan.
