Following his career, he went on to have an exceptional session with the team making him Most Valuable Player on two occasions.
His team Milwaukee went on to win the World Series too. Further, he continued his journey with the Milwaukee Brewers.
He went on to retire in 1976 as a player and joined Atlanta Braves as an executive and later became vice-president too.
