Early Life
Milkuri Gangavva aka Gangavva was born in 1961, in Lambadipally, Telangana, India. As of now, she is 62 years old and is an Indian as of her nationality. There is not much information about her early life, parents, and more.
But, she has mentioned that she went to a public school and dropped out in 1st standard. Due to his family’s financial situation, she couldn’t study further. Thus, she belongs to a family of farmers and she is also familiar with farming tasks. She grew up with her grandparents as her parents passed away when she was very young.

Gangavva was married at the age of 5 as her granny tied the knot. Additionally, as per the sources, her husband passed away years before. When she turned 26, she gave birth to 3 daughters and 1 son. Unfortunately, she lost one of her daughters too.
Professional Life
She was born and married in a small village, she started working on farms. Therefore, she worked as a coolie and rolled Beedis for income. In an interview, she said, “Before all I knew was working hard in the farms, plowing, cutting grass, and looking after my family.
At one point, I even started doing coolie work and rolling beedis for decent earning.” Her son-in-law Srikanth Sriram; a filmmaker, visited her, and he told her about the YouTube platform. In 2012, she started a YouTube channel, ‘My Village Show’.

Thus, he used to upload videos related to village culture and rural families’ daily routines. During that time, Srikanth was looking for an old woman for his YouTube videos. Later on, he approached her to act in his videos.
In the year 2017, he acted in the reaction video, ‘Village Internet Problems. Fortunately, the video went viral on YouTube. Moreover, she started getting more and more views and subscribers on her channel as she continued appearing in various videos. Likewise, she received a gold play button from YouTube for reaching one million subscribers, in 2019.
More about career
In 2020, she received the Women Achiever Award on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The award was given by Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor of Telangana. Besides that, she has tried her luck in the film industry too.
In 2019, she was seen in films named Mallesham and iSmart Shankar. She started getting more fame and popularity in a short period. In 2021, she was seen in the film named SR Kalyanamandapam where she played the role of a neighbour.
And, she played the role of Anjamma in the film Raja Raja Chora. In the same year, she landed the role of Gangavva for a film named Love Story. In the year 2022, she played the role of Kanthamma in a film titled Godfather. Additionally, she was seen as a contestant in Sixth Sense S3 and Sixth Sense S4. Similarly, she was a contestant in Big Boss 4 Telegu. Also appeared as a guest in Big Boss 4 Buzz.
