Coming toward his professional career, Frankie Muniz took part in a local production of A Christmas Carol in North Carolina when he was just 10 years old. After moving to California, he appeared in a few commercials.

In the 1997 television movie named “To Dance with Olivia,” he made his acting debut, portraying the role of Oscar. That same year, he played in another television movie named “What the Deaf Man Heard” portraying the role of Young Sammy.

He landed the lead role of Malcolm in the American family television sitcom “Malcolm in the Middle.” This television show became an immediate hit and its first episodes took more than 25 million viewers. During the early 2000s, he was considered the most bankable teen in Hollywood in 2003.
